The EmoryCard is the official Emory University ID for students, faculty, and staff members.

Schools manage the EmoryCard application process for incoming students and campus departments do so for new employees. As part of this process, new students and employees are asked to upload their photos online as outlined below.

Visit our website's Use Your EmoryCard section to learn more about how to add Eagle Dollars to your account and where you can spend them.

Be Prepared

Prior to arrival, all new students and employees are required to upload an APPROVED photo of themselves and an image of their government ID. it’s as easy as taking a selfie against a plain, solid, white background!

  • If you do not follow the photo guidelines it will not work or it will be disapproved.
  • Is the photo a headshot of you ONLY?
  • Is the background plain, solid, white in color?
  • Are eyes open and clearly visible?
  • Is the photo in JPG file format?
  • Is the photo at least 512 X 512 pixels in size?
